BridgeVoice is free to use. By using it, you agree to these rules.
Captions and Signs
Captions, reading aloud and sign reading are done by computers. They make mistakes. Check anything important, like a diagnosis, a price or a date, with the person directly.
The app may sometimes be slow or not working, and features may change.
Do not rely on BridgeVoice in an emergency. Call emergency services.
Respect
- Tell people when captions are on.
- Don't record someone who has not agreed.
- Don't harass, threaten or deceive anyone.
- Don't share anything illegal, or anything that is not yours to share.
Your Content
You are responsible for what you say, type, sign and send.
Space is limited, so files you share in a conversation (photos, documents, voice notes) are removed within a day after the conversation is deleted.
When you teach a sign, you allow BridgeVoice to show it in the Library and use it to improve sign reading. You can delete it at any time.
Enforcement
We may remove signs or end conversations that break these rules.
The person who starts a conversation can remove people from it.
Changes
If these rules change, we update this page and the date at the top.
Who Runs BridgeVoice
Ambrose Onapa (Uganda) and Ibrahim Tukur (Deaf, Nigeria).
